SOLICITATION OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
FOR

THREE PROJECT MANAGERS
and
TWO ASSISTANTS TO PROJECT MANAGER

TO THE RESTRUCTURING AND TENDER CENTER OF THE
PRIVATIZATION AGENCY, REPUBLIC OF SERBIA



The Government of Serbia (hereinafter: the GoS), through Serbia and Montenegro, has received a Grant from European Agency for Reconstruction, administered by the World Bank, to support the privatization, restructuring and bankruptcy of the socially-and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Privatization as amended in 2005.

The GoS now intends to apply part of this Grant for services to be provided by two Legal Advisors and one Junior Legal Advisor.

Selection of the candidate shall be conducted in accordance with the Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers published in May 2004 and the provisions stipulated in the Letter Agreement.

Selected candidates shall commence the services as soon as the contract is signed and shall continue their work until December 10, 2008, or any other period as may be subsequently agreed by the parties in writing

PROJECT MANAGER:
The general objective of the assignment is to provide the Privatization Agency (PA) with advisory services in performing the tasks assigned to the Restructuring and Tender Center (RTC) in the process of preparation and implementation of the Tender Privatization Program.
The specific objective of this assignment is to support the RTC in day-to-day implementation of the Tender Privatization Program, to act as a counterpart of the Financial Advisor (FA) on the side of the PA, to co-ordinate the FA’s activities and support them as a liaison officer with other Government organizations or institutions and trade unions, with the goal to implement the privatization as fast as possible and in accordance with international accepted standards.
The suitable candidate shall have a university degree and at least three years of general working experience and experience in similar projects holding a position with similar responsibilities. The knowledge of Privatization Legislation of the Republic of Serbia, English language, Project Management experience and computer literacy are required.

ASSISTANT TO PROJECT MANAGER
The general objective of the assignment is to provide the PA with advisory services in performing the tasks assigned to the RTC in the process of preparation and implementation of the Tender Privatization Program.
The specific objective of this assignment is to support the RTC in day-to-day implementation of the Tender Privatization Program, to act as a counterpart of the FA on the side of the PA, to co-ordinate the FA’s activities and support them as a liaison officer with other Government organizations or institutions and trade unions, with the goal to implement the privatization as fast as possible and in accordance with international accepted standards.
The suitable candidate shall have a university and shall have at least two years of general working experience. The knowledge of Privatization Legislation of the Republic of Serbia, English Language and computer literacy are required.
The CVs shall clearly line out the most relevant and recent projects, which the eligible candidate considers to be most relevant and which best document the experience in accordance with the requirements lined out hereinbefore.
